Calibre found the root cause

I'm happy to say that because of Calibre the mystery (of my health situation) was solved. I don't think it would be possible with any other health service provider. Everyone does a little piece of the puzzle, but no one joins the dots and that is the really key thing.

12 weeks in, I've made real progress

I've been trying to be on top of my health: tracking activities and food, occasionally doing blood tests and trying to interpret the results. Calibre has brought clarity and focus to my approach. In my first 12 weeks I have made substantial progress and look forward to continuing the journey to be the healthiest and strongest version of myself.

Frequently asked questions

I've already tried Thriva or Neko. How is Calibre different?

Those services give you data. Calibre is designed to deliver outcomes. That’s why we have personalised blood tests, and assess your lifestyle, health history and wearable data in order to build the complete picture of your health. This is joined up and reviewed by a dedicated doctor who provides you with a holistic health assessment and then builds a plan around the 2 to 3 specific things actually driving your energy and long-term health. Not another dashboard to decode alone.

What if I've already tried more sleep, less caffeine, and supplements?

You're not alone. Most Calibre members have already tried what generic advice recommends. That's why we don't start with generic advice. We start with your specific context and data, find what's actually driving your energy, and build a plan around the 2 to 3 things that matter for your body. The cause of low energy often differs from person to person.

How long until I feel a difference?

Most members report noticeable improvements within 4 to 8 weeks. Meaningful change in your biomarkers typically shows in the first re-test at month 6. Your Energy Score is remeasured every quarter so you can see progress objectively, not just how you feel on any given day. Results may vary and will also depend on you implementing the plan.

Do I need to give up coffee, alcohol, or my current routine?

Maybe. Calibre isn't a restrictive protocol. Your dedicated clinician looks at what you're currently doing and identifies the specific changes that will move your energy for your body. Often it's not what people expect. One member's energy improved by swapping white rice for sweet potatoes. Another's by reducing high intensity cardio. We will show you the full picture and provide you with different choices on how to improve your energy.

What if my results indicate something serious?

Your dedicated doctor reviews every result. If anything requires urgent attention or specialist input, we'll flag it immediately and provide a GP referral letter for onward care. Calibre works alongside NHS care, and is not a replacement for primary or acute care.

Where do I get my blood drawn?

We partner with clinics across London, giving you a choice of locations and flexible appointment slots.

Why £39 a month? What's included?

Everything. Your 50+ biomarker panel, your dedicated doctor, quarterly reviews, five days of lifestyle tracking every quarter, wearable integration, your Calibre Energy Score, your personalised plan, advanced testing where indicated (DEXA, VO₂ max, CGM, hormone panels). No upsells. No supplement commissions. Comparable care assembled separately would cost around £5,000 a year.

My GP said my bloods are normal. Can Calibre still help?

Yes. Standard NHS panels are designed to detect disease, not to identify what's driving your energy or what’s optimal for you. Being within reference range doesn't mean your body is running at its best. Calibre tests specific markers most GPs don't run, including leptin, fasting insulin, Free T3, ApoB, and interprets them in the context of your full picture, so we can find what's driving your energy even when your bloods look fine.

Who is Calibre for?

Calibre is available for adults aged 18 to 65 living in England, with a particular focus on 25 to 55-year-olds who are broadly well and are looking for a holistic, proactive and expert-led approach to their health.

It is not a substitute for your GP, and it is not suitable as a first point of contact for new or urgent health concerns. Furthermore, Calibre is not currently suitable if you:

  • are under 18 or over 65.

  • are not resident in the United Kingdom.

  • are currently experiencing new, worsening, or urgent symptoms you have not yet discussed with a doctor, including mental health symptoms.

  • are currently pregnant.

  • have a health condition that is currently unstable or not well controlled.

If you are unsure whether the service is right for you, contact us at info@getcalibre.com before signing up, and we will be happy to advise.

How does the money-back guarantee work?

If you don’t feel your health assessment has given you greater clarity about your health, let us know within 7 days after the health assessment call with your dedicated clinician, and we will refund you in full.

In general, if you are unhappy with any aspect of your membership, please reach out, and we will work with you to make it right. Founding members shape where Calibre goes.

Can I pause or cancel my membership after I sign up?

Yes to both. If you need to pause or cancel your membership for any reason, just reach out to us via WhatsApp, and we'll sort it out.

What happens after I sign up and pay?

After making your first payment, you will get access to the Calibre app, where you can create your account.

Shortly after, you'll receive a welcome message on WhatsApp from the Calibre team, which is your direct line for notifications, alerts, and support questions throughout your membership. Your dedicated clinician will also introduce themselves personally via WhatsApp.

From there, the app walks you through getting set up: booking your lab test at one of our partner clinics, choosing the 5-day window for your lifestyle tracking, and connecting your wearables.

Why is Calibre a membership?

Health isn't a one-off, it's an ongoing journey. Calibre is built around continuous support, regular diagnostic testing, and personalised action plans. This is designed so that you achieve positive health outcomes, improving your energy and protecting against long-term health risks.

What does the first month with Calibre look like?

Here's what to expect, though you set the pace.

Week 1: Onboarding

  • Complete your detailed health history covering your background, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals

  • Connect any wearables you use

  • Book your blood test and lifestyle tracking

Week 2: Comprehensive blood panel

  • Visit a DocTap clinic in London for a 15-minute appointment to give blood and urine samples

Week 2-3: Lifestyle tracking

  • Track energy, blood pressure, nutrition, activity, and sleep for 5 days (including a weekend) via the app

  • This captures essential context that is typically not considered

Week 3-4: Health assessment & personalised plan

  • Your lab results, lifestyle data, and health history come together in your health assessment

  • 1:1 Clinician call walks you through what's driving your results and where to focus

  • You receive your first personalised plan, designed to improve your energy

From there, you track your progress in the app. Your clinician and our AI navigator are on hand for support until your first check-in after 3 months.

What diagnostics are included, and how often are they repeated?

Your membership includes two layers of diagnostic testing.

Your annual blood panel covers 50–60 markers across 8 physiological systems, including hormones, fertility markers, and the key drivers of your energy and long-term health. A comparable standalone panel would cost you up to £600, before any clinical interpretation or guidance. This is repeated annually so you always know where you stand.

A six-monthly diagnostic check-in deepens your picture. Your clinician selects the most relevant tests based on how your last six months have gone, whether that means retesting key markers to track progress, or introducing a new diagnostic to sharpen understanding in a specific area of your health. These may include a DEXA scan, VO2 max assessment, continuous glucose monitoring, and more.

Full list of biomarkers and why they matter

How is my blood panel personalised?

Not every marker is meaningful for every person. Some are only relevant given specific health histories, risk factors, or goals. In your onboarding, you'll complete a tailored questionnaire covering your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and health goals to determine exactly which biomarkers are included in the panel.

Full list of biomarkers and why they matter

How does Calibre compare with an annual health check?

Annual health checks, NHS or private, test a standard set of biomarkers and hand you a scorecard. After that, you're largely on your own.

Calibre goes further and doesn’t stop at the health assessment:

  • Deeper diagnostic tests personalised to you, not population averages

  • Your full story, not just your latest numbers

  • Causal insight into what's actually driving your health

  • Personalised plans to improve your energy and long-term health

  • Always-on care from your dedicated clinician and our AI navigator

How does Calibre compare to a wearable like Whoop or Oura?

Your wearable can tell you something's off, it can't tell you why. Calibre integrates your wearable data with your full health context to give those numbers meaning, and to tell you exactly what to do about them.

We currently integrate with Oura, Whoop, Garmin, and hundreds of other health apps. Integration with Apple Health coming soon.

Who are the doctors and clinicians behind Calibre?

Calibre was co-founded by Dr. Innerhofer, alongside world-class doctors and scientists who care deeply about proactive health. Your dedicated clinicians are fully credentialed and accountable.

Clinical care and interpretation is delivered in partnership with DocTap, a CQC registered care provider.

Read about our health experts

Does Calibre replace my GP?

No. Calibre is a proactive health membership working alongside your existing care, not a replacement for primary or emergency care. For diagnoses, prescriptions, referrals, or anything urgent, your GP is who you need.

Calibre replaces private GPs or specialists you would consult for proactive health needs.

Is my data secure, and how is it handled?

We are privacy-first by design, and our data practices are built to meet the latest UK data protection and GDPR standards. We follow CQC-regulated policies that apply to UK clinical care providers.

Your health data is only accessible to you and your clinical team. It is not shared beyond that without your explicit consent, except where legally required.

See our privacy policy or email us at privacy@getcalibre.com.

How is my health data stored and shared?

Your data is encrypted, stored securely, and only accessible to you and your Calibre clinical team. We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties without your explicit consent. If you want to share your results with your GP or specialist, we make that straightforward.

I have a family history of heart disease (or diabetes). Do you actually interpret it in that context?

Yes. Family history shapes the panel your doctor chooses for you and how your results are interpreted. A "normal" ApoB reading looks different if your father had a heart attack at 55 than if your family has no cardiovascular history. Your dedicated doctor reads every result against your specific risk profile.

I asked my GP for Lp(a) and was refused. Does Calibre test it?

Yes. Lp(a) is included in your baseline panel. It is a genetic cardiovascular risk factor elevated in roughly 1 in 5 people, and most have never been tested. If yours comes back elevated, your doctor will explain what it means and build a plan that accounts for it.

What happens if you find something serious?

Your dedicated doctor reviews every result. If anything needs urgent attention or specialist input beyond what we offer, we flag it immediately and support referrals with clean clinical documentation for onward care. Calibre works alongside NHS care, not against it.

Will Calibre share my results with my GP if I want?

Yes, on your request. If you want to share your results with your GP, cardiologist, or specialist, we make that straightforward with clinical documentation. Your data is yours. We facilitate sharing when you ask.

Can I get advanced testing like a calcium score or CGM through Calibre?

Advanced testing (DEXA, VO₂ max, CGM, hormone panels) is scheduled where clinically warranted, typically at Month 6 or when your data indicates it will generate new signal. Cardiac calcium scoring is arranged via specialist referral if your risk profile warrants it. Your doctor will explain when and why each additional test earns its place.

What is included in the £39 a month?

Everything. Your 50+ biomarker panel including Lp(a), ApoB, fasting insulin and more. Your dedicated doctor. Quarterly reviews and re-testing. Wearable integration. Your personalised prevention plan. Advanced testing where indicated (DEXA, VO₂ max, CGM, hormone panels). No upsells. No supplement commissions. Comparable care assembled separately would cost around £5,000 a year.

How often do you re-test the markers that matter most?

Key risk markers are re-tested every six months so you can see whether your plan is actually moving them. Your full baseline panel is re-run at month 12. Advanced diagnostics are added where they earn their place. So you always know exactly what has shifted, not just how you feel.

Can I pause or cancel if I am not seeing value?

Yes. You can pause or cancel anytime with no penalties. If your health assessment does not give you clarity, we offer a full money-back guarantee. We do not lock members in.

Where do I get my blood drawn, and how long does the process take?

We arrange your blood test at a DocTap partner clinic near you, typically within Week 1 or 2. The appointment is a 15-minute visit. Your first Health Assessment lands in Week 3 or 4, and your personalised plan follows immediately after.

How is Calibre different from Function Health or Superpower?

Function Health and Superpower give you data. Calibre gives you interpretation. Your bloods, wearable data, lifestyle and history are joined up and reviewed by a dedicated clinician who builds a specific plan around the 3 to 5 levers actually driving your energy. You get a specific person acting on your data, not another dashboard to decode alone.

I've already tried lots of things. What if nothing changes?

Most members haven’t done too little. They’ve done too much. The problem isn’t effort. It’s knowing which few things actually matter for your body. That’s what Calibre is designed to uncover.

Do you integrate with my Whoop, Oura, Ultrahuman, or Apple Watch?

Yes, we integrate with most wearables (Apple and Google health coming soon). The data becomes part of the picture your dedicated doctor interprets. HRV, sleep and recovery pattens, resting heart rate, and more are all considered in your assessment and plan. If you already track continuously, you don’t need a new device. Calibre works with what you have.

Do you test any advanced markers?

We test ApoB, Lp(a), fasting insulin, HOMA-IR, leptin, Free T3, DHEA-S, SHBG, and more. The markers that predict long-term health and drive your energy, not just the standard NHS panel. Your panel is selected for your profile, so you’re not paying for markers that won’t tell us anything about you.

Is my doctor qualified in longevity and performance medicine?

Your dedicated doctor has training in preventive and performance medicine, not general practice. All clinical care is delivered in partnership with DocTap, a CQC-registered provider. Every plan is reviewed against high quality evidence. If you want to know your specific clinician’s background before joining, book a call and we’ll match you before you commit.

How do you assess what is driving my energy?

Your Energy Assessment is built from integrating the key drivers of energy. They contain sleep, stress, psychosocial inputs, hormones, metabolism, inflammation, physical fitness, and more. Your data is mapped to the systems driving how you feel. You will clearly see where your strengths and weaknesses lie. Your plan will tackle the few levers that truly move the needle for you.

How does Calibre measure Energy (The energy score)?

Wearables don’t measure energy - they infer it from your heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), movement, skin temperature and sometimes oxygen saturation. This is very different from the energy you experience - which is what happens in your brain and what no wearable can measure. We developed the Calibre energy score that consists of 4 components that together make up your felt experience of energy: wakefulness, motivational drive, inner sense of calm and mood. Answering them takes less than 10 seconds. This way you build your real energy picture. Now, integrating it with all your other data becomes meaningful.

Can I get advanced testing on demand, or do I have to wait?

As part of your membership, you get additional diagnostic tests every six months. After the broad blood baseline in month 6, advanced testing at month 6 can include DEXA, VO₂ max, hormone panels, CGM and more. The right test is chosen with your dedicated doctor based on what matters most for you.

What happens if my markers are already in the optimal range?

Two things. First, we look for where you’re not yet in the optimal range but the standard reference range says you are. Being “within range” is a low bar. Being at your specific optimal is different. Second, we look at trajectory. A stable optimum is different from an optimum that’s declining slowly. Longitudinal tracking catches drift you can’t see in a snapshot.

How does the plan adapt if I'm already following a Peter Attia-style protocol?

Your plan starts with what you’re already doing and identifies the specific gaps. If your protocol is working, we keep it. If your data shows specific interventions would move a marker your current protocol is missing (dietary timing shifts, specific supplement changes, training zone adjustments, sleep architecture optimisation), we recommend the additions. Very often we see people doing too many things that don’t matter, and so we also actively recommend what to remove, so that you have clarity and confidence in doing the few things that actually matter most.

Can I keep my current supplements and just add Calibre's guidance?

Yes. Calibre doesn’t sell supplements and doesn’t take commissions. Your dedicated doctor reviews what you’re taking, keeps what’s working, and flags anything that’s redundant or contraindicated based on your data. Nothing gets removed without reason, and nothing gets added without evidence.

Will Calibre share my data with my current specialists?

Only on your request. If you want to share your results with your GP, cardiologist, endocrinologist, or specialist, we make that straightforward with clean clinical documentation. Your data is yours. We facilitate sharing when you ask; we never share without explicit consent.
